Raised on a farm in Minnesota, Brian graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Economics and Agricultural Business. After graduating he worked several years as a financial planner. Brian’s finance and banking career spans over 25 years and has focuses on commercial and agricultural lending, as a Vice President for First Savings Bank in South Dakota and First National Bank of North Platte, Nebraska. Brain came to Gillette in 2002 and is currently a Senior Lender for First National bank of Gillette.
Brian joined the CCEDC Board in 2013 and has volunteered in all of the communities ha has lived in. He has been especially active in conservation service organizations such as the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Ducks Unlimited. Brian and his wife, Shelley, enjoy traveling and hunting together.
