Cody is born and raised Gillette, Wyoming and a strong supporter of our community and it’s future. He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation he spent some time in finance and banking before transitioning his career to the mining industry. He spent 5 years, in several roles, with a mining company before hiring on with Joy Global (now Komatsu) in 2013. Cody is currently the Sales Manager for Komatsu, overseeing sales for mining customers in Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Colorado.
Cody is Board Member and currently holds the role of Secretary for the Mining Associates of Wyoming. He enjoys working with the Wyoming Mining Association and being an active member in the industry.
Apart from his career in the mining industry Cody and Wife Jessalyn are also founders of a startup. Their iOS app launched on the Apple App store in March 2020 and is called ParentsMeet. A platform dedicated to helping busy parents get to know others in their area. Cody and Jessalyn have 3 children, Kamden (11), Baylor (9) & Memphis (4), which keep them very busy in sports and activities.
