Lunch and Learns will be held at the Energy Capital Enterprise Center each month. Local start-up entrepreneurs and those interested in starting a business are invited and encouraged to attend.
Cost is $10, which covers a light lunch. Lunch and Learns are primarily an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn critical business skills and about resources available to them, but they are also so much more. They allow established local businesses to share their expertise and develop relationships with the entrepreneurs. They also help entrepreneurs to connect with each other so they can share ideas, expertise, insights and partnerships.
February's keynote speaker, Susan McKay of Susan McKay, CPA, will talk about the accounting needs of small businesses and answer participants' questions about the often-confusing world of accounting.
