Schutz Foss Architects was formed in 1986 from a large Mid-West Corporation, Foss Associates.
Jerry Schutz & Allen Rapacz were partners in Schutz Foss Architects until January 1997 when Mr. Rapacz became president and owner of the firm. As second generation of ownership, Mr. Rapacz has led the firm in management, leadership in architectural design and business development.
In 1999, SFA opened a branch office in Gillette, and in 2010 SFA opened a branch office in Dickinson, North Dakota.
Though the recent recession, SFA has not only grown as a firm, but has also grown in its client base.
Schutz Foss Architects serves clients in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho & Washington.
